After School Art Classes - Enrollment Ongoing

Parents can buy 6 Week Class Packages to the After School Fine Art Sessions. Parents must pick a day of the week they can attend but you have the flexibility in attending different days of the week depending on availability. View below our 2013 schedule.
There are three 6 week blocks throughout the 2013 semester.
Types of Art Work - A child attending a typical 6 week session will complete both fine art painting and drawing projects in watercolor, acrylic, chalk, and pencil. They will also learn to work with clay- creating pots, and relief tiles, as well as a craft projects such has mosaic stepping stones, bottle lights, or chinese papers lanterns and much more.
Instructors and Kid's Education - Instructor Mr. Lee has been teaching kids in Lexington since 2008. He has degrees from Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Savannah of College of Art and Design, and the University of South Carolina. He teaches after school classes at various elementary schools as well as, at the Nancy K. Perry Children's Shelter. He approaches each art project with a foundation in the arts including; color theory, composition, pencil rendering, painting, clay and 3D work. He makes sure children have fun while working hard and being rewarded for their efforts. Class sizes remain small to ensure an atmosphere conducive to being as creative as possible. He also has a sweet tooth for chocolate and peanut butter brownies and lemon lime jelly beans.

Tuesdays – Junior Artists - All Blocks OPEN
Ages 9yr – 13yr - Pick Your Time 3:30 – 5:00 or 4:00 – 5:30
Wednesdays – All Blocks OPEN
Ages: 5-8yr - Pick Your Time: 3:00 - 4:30, 3:30 – 5:00
Thursdays – All Blocks OPEN
Ages: 5-8yr - Pick Your Time: 3:00 – 4:30, 3:30 – 5:00

$20 for one class - the "Try-It-Out" rate

$90 per 6 week Block ($15 per class).

The Little Details
- You can attend more than once a week if space is available.
- The number of weeks you have to complete all your classes begins on your first day of class.
- All art materials are included.
- There are no refunds. No refunds for missed or unused classes. Unused classes do not rollover to the following semester.
- We want kids to have fun and learn!
Payment Plans & Discounts
- Parents can pay a 50% deposit of total tuition with weekly or bi-monthly balance payments divided by the remaining number of weeks.
