Art Projects: June 4th - 6th Painting and Drawing - Your Name in Heiroglyphs, Egyptian Self Portait with Headdress, Egyptian Animal and Landscape Drawing and Painting on alternative material like sandpaper to convey that desert feel!
June 7th - 8th Sculpture and Crafts - Mummy Masks, Clay Heiroglyphic Tiles, Heiroglyphic Bead Jewelry, Scarab Beatles in Polymer Clay, Cat Figurines

Big Creature Week - 2nd Week June 11th - 15th
Art Projects: June 11th - 13th Painting and Drawing - Dinosaur Painting and Drawing, Create Your Own Dinosaur, Chinese Dragon Drawings, Mythology Creatures and Create Your Own Monster Drawing and Paintings.
June 14th - 15th - Sculpture and Crafts - Chinese Dragon or Creature Puppet, Mythology Creature on Clay Relief Tiles, Creature Paper Collages, Grecian Pottery Painting, Sock Monster.

Super Hero Week - 5th Week July 9th - 13th (recommended ages 9+)
Art Projects: July 9th - 11th Coloring & Drawing - Children learn to draw their own superhero through a foundation of drawing techniques using pencil, pen, and colored markers. Also, guest Marvel Comic Book illustrator Victor Carrabotta will visit to give kids a first hand look at how to draw using perspective and correct human anatomy. Children will be taught how to create their own 3-panel story board from beginning to end.
July 12 - 13th Drawing Fundamentals and Expression - Children will learn perspective drawing as well as looking at great artists such as M.C. Escher to create their own intricate drawings.

African Safari Week - 6th Week July 16th - 20th
Art Projects: July 16th - 18th Painting & Drawing - African Mask Chalk Drawing, Ancient African Cave Drawing, Animal Safari Painting
July 19th - 20th Sculpture & Crafts - Faux Batik ( Fabric Painting Tapestry using Mud Cloth), African Mask, Copper Tooling Foil Mask, Polymer Clay & Clay figures, Paper Weaving, Bleach Pen Fabric Designs, Wrap Skirts

Fine Art Week - 7th Week July 23rd - 27th
Art Projects: July 23rd - 25th Painting & Drawing - Children will learn a variety of fine art techniques in painting with acrylics, ink, pencil etc while learning a foundation in line, texture, color theory and more! Projects include Rainbow Tree/"Stained Glass" Chalk Drawing, Color Theory Painting, Still Life Drawing and Perspective, Self Portrait Drawing
July 26th - 27th Sculpture & Crafts - Children will learn a foundation in 3D art using clay, throwing on the wheel, and alternative sculpture material such as wire. Projects include handbuilding with clay, wire mobiles and more!
